We have to begin, soon, with the mass production of hemp, so we can reverse the atmospheric damage we have caused through a combination of global deforestation (forests supply our oxygen and consume carbon dioxide) and excessive gaseous carbon discharge (methane, CFC's, carbon dioxide).
Also, if it we're legal for all us stoners grow our own reefer, almost every neighborhood in the country would reap the benefits of an increase in levels of pure oxygen and a decrease in carbon dioxide levels, thanks to all the pot plants that we would be growing everywhere, for the purpose of getting high.
Those neighborhoods that are non-growing would still benefit, due to the fact that we all share the atmosphere.
Additionally, by mass poducing hemp we would create a world-wide resource that would provide a multitude of benefits to mankind. Including tons of jobs for all the ex-petroleum workers and more.
